Pioneer 7.1 Home Theater Systems

Home theater systems have become one of the must have pieces equipment in every home, and deciding which one to choose can be a challenge.  The speakers that you choose to go with the system are very important, and can make all of the difference for sound quality.  Typically a home theater system will come provided with a number of different speakers. Although in the smaller versions the speakers consist of one central speaker, a pair of left, and right speakers, a subwoofer, and side surround speakers.

However, with the 7.1 version there are additional speakers at the rear of the listening area, which provides a clearer sound. Although the left and right speakers do carry a huge proportion of the sound the additional ones enhance the quality of what you are hearing.  Many of the sound effects, and low sounding scary bits will come from the speakers that are behind you. With the 7.1 system you feel as if you are really inside the movie.  Although many people think that it is the subwoofer that provides that element the human ear cannot pick up the low frequency clearly.

Although the older technology does not support the new 7.1 very well the newer systems allows the whole concept to come alive in your room.  The overall feeling is that the 7.1 systems allow for a far greater viewing experience, and take home cinema to the next element. They allow the movie to come to life, and allow the viewers to feel as if they are part of the action.  By simply having those additional speakers in the home theater system the viewing experience is increased. The 7.1 system had only been seen in dedicated movie rooms, and home theater areas. However, they are becoming more popular to have in your average living room.

The Pioneer Corporation has been in business for many years, since 1938. It is based in Tokyo Japan, and it specializes in digital entertainment products. Every guy out there remembers that Pioneer brand stereos were the top of the line for their cars when they were kids, and this has not changed after all of these years. Pioneer played a major role in the development of interactive cable TV, and the laser disc player. In 1985 they introduced the 40 inch projection monitor, and in 1996 the DEVD/CD player.
