Pioneer 360DV Home Theater System
Lots of companies that have been contributing to the consumer electronic industry are finding new ways to innovate and deliver well-performing entertainment systems right in the consumers' own living rooms. A good home theater system should be the answer to that consisting of a large flat-panel display, good set of speakers, and some decks for media playback and amplifying. A lot of these systems have been accomplished, but not all of them look visually appealing due to the mess of wires found in the back. Pioneer managed to simplify this with their Pioneer 360DV home theater system.
Pioneer tries to go beyond the home theater system concept by adding plug-and-play capabilities to make setup easier than ever. It makes full use of the HDMI interface to allow the DVD receiver that is included in the package to easily connect to TV displays. No other wires are needed as the cable includes both the video signal and multichannel audio signal so no sound or video quality is sacrificed.
The DVD player is packed with its own technologies to that work well with supported TVs including the Pure Cinema 2:3 progressive scan for giving DVD titles a more cinema-like presentation in both video and audio perspectives. The audio sounds more realistic in this system as it has the necessary built-in decoders including DTS, Dolby Pro Logic, and Dolby Digital. At the same time, a six channel digital amplifier is built-in that can work not only with movies, but also with music titles and games that support any of these formats. A USB port is also included so any flash drives containing pictures and music tracks can be played back. It also supports the DivX format allowing high quality videos to be played back that do not have large file sizes.
The DVD player is very easy to set up with these speakers and the "Room Set Up" feature does the rest by automatically tweaking the sound environment based on the layout of the speakers.
